The Valor Fitness DD-21 Incline/Flat Utility Bench offers a
variety of options for each user. The adjustable back pad and adjustable seat
with popper pins allow the user to seamlessly adjust the bench to meet their
specific needs. The DD-21 can adjust from a flat position of 0 degrees to an
incline position of 70 degrees with 4 variations in between, while the seat pad
adjusts in 4 different positions from 0 to 60 degrees. Each adjustment uses a
locking popper pin. The pivot movement creates a “V” position for the user,
which is ideal for dumbbell bench presses, flies, and many other exercises.
This position supports the user and provides greater stability when lifting
heavier loads. The 12-gauge, 2” x 2” steel frame is supported by 4 rubber base
caps to prevent damage to gym flooring and provides further stability. The 2”
thick padding on the back and seat pad is supported by continuous dual beam
supports for added strength and durability. The DD-21 can be used as a
standalone bench or used with a rack such as the Valor Fitness BD-7 Power Rack
or BE-11 Smith Machine (both sold separately). Comparable in style and utility
to the DD-3 bench, the DD-21 has the added feature of mobility. With a non-slip
grip handle in the front and high-impact nylon wheels at the rear, the Valor
Fitness DD-21 Incline/Flat Utility Bench can easily be moved around any home or
light-commercial gym setting.

Note: Under normal use (Bench Press, deadlifts, squats etc.) the Olympic bars with last years. Recently, with the growth in the CrossFit-like industry where workouts involve dropping the bars repetitively, bars with a bolted end (as opposed to a bearing) will eventually un-thread. This happens from constant impact that the bar was not designed to take on. Our website warranty page demonstrates this damage with a side by side of a bolt taken from a bar that has been used in the recommended fashion for at least a year and a comparison bolt that has been taken from a bar with repetitive dropping exercises. Illustrated is the wear on the bolt threads concluding to the end result of bar failure.
Note: The BP-10, BPP-10 and BPX-10 Bumper Plate are NOT designed or intended to be dropped on the bar without any additional weight plates. Product testing and development has shown that by dropping an Olympic Bar (See bar note) while using only 10lb plates can result in damage and compromise the integrity of the 10lb plate. During our product testing however, it was also discovered that using at least a 25lb plate (BP-25, BPP-25, BPX-25) in conjunction with the 10lb plates, the damage does not occur. Furthermore, Valor Fitness warranty does not cover damage to the BP-10, BPP-10 or BPX-10 plates caused by this improper use nor damage to plates caused by resting the bar on the floor using only 10lb plates as similar damage may occur.
Note: Be sure to use caution and care when assembling the unit, do not over tighten screws as it may cause wood to dimple, chip and/or snag on flooring surfaces.
