The SS-T Sissy Squat is used to strengthen your quads, glutes, and core without the need for additional weights (you can add weight by holding a med ball, kettlebell, dumbbell, or plate, but it is not required). The sissy squat isolates your quads and will do the load of the work, and can benefit you if you are looking to get your quads up to speed with the rest of your legs and glutes. Sissy squats are also used as an exercise to help balance out the muscles on both your posterior and anterior chain.
